Pooping problem

Question
We took in a miniature schnauzer 9 months ago.  She is 6 or 7 and she was dropped off on the side of the road.  Her families house was foreclosed on.  She has had broken ribs and she is very fearful but quite the barker.  She gets very nervous and poops and peas on the floor, in the car, any where when she feels she is left.  She vomits at the drop of a hat.  We have switched her foods and there is not much left to do.  She wheezes when she gets nervous and sleeps.  She constantly has a bad smell and we had to buy special shampoo.  I think it is from internal injuries from the past.  Help!!  Is there doggy prozac?  We are close to getting rid of her.

Answer
Has this dog been examined by a veterinarian? Odors are caused by something... usually ear infections, peridontal disease, anal glands, or a possible skin infection. Clear up the problem and the smell should go away.

The vomiting could be irritable bowel syndrome, and, yes, there are some drugs that might be helpful in calming this little girl. Your vet should be able to help you with this.

Barking is pretty normal behavior in many schnauzers, but they can be taught to control it. Rescues require a LOT of patience, and with training, socialization, and lots of love, this girl can become a good companion. If you decide you cannot handle her anymore, please place her with a good rescue organization.
