birth?

ok welll my boxer puppy is about o give birth to about five puppys but i was wondering how long after the water breaks do the puppy arrrive and also  that i was wondering will a dog use an item to beable to push teh babies out?

Hi Chandler,  Each puppy is in their own sac with their own water, so each puppy will have water break right before they are born.  Each dogs time is individual, especially if the mother is a first timer.  You just don't want her straining for a long period of time before getting her to the vet in case she is having complications.  Hope this helps,
