symptoms after spaying

Our dog was spayed 10 days ago and soon after that starting humping our other female (and previously spayed) dog almost continuously. What is causing that behavior and will it go away soon?

Answer
This is a dominance-related issue. It has nothing to do with either dog being spayed. The behavior will continue unless you do something to stop it. You don't have to be overly forceful, but you should correct either dog for humping the other one whenever you see them doing it. Then, redirect them to play with a toy or something, to take their mind off dominating.
