I have a beared collie mix shes 7 months old and still has problems going outside. she'll go in the floor when im hooking her to her leash right before we go out. she sleeps in a dog create and does not seem to mind to go in that area either im open to any answers that might help.

Answer
Amanda, are you standing over her while you're leashing her up? It could be that you are intimidating her and she is submissively urinating to show you that she does, in fact, recognize you as her leader. It might also be that you are simply waiting too long to take her out, and she just cannot hold it any longer. What if you leash her before you take her out of the crate (ie: open the door, hook the leash to her, and >>then<< let her come out)?

You say she is also going potty in her crate? Perhaps you are leaving her in there too long, or perhaps she came from a pet store or breeder that did not keep her living quarters clean. Please take a look at my house training page, which is located at http://housetraining.angelfire.com for more tips and suggestions.
