Question
Hello,
Thank you for being a volunteer and help all of us.
My dog havanese female just got 5 days ago bladder stones surgery, and it looks she is doing fine, her mood is getting better each day and walking around, barking, and being social like she was. We have had problems with her liking the wound and opening the stitches, now she is using a preventing collar to avoid the liking. The problem that gets me concern is that I have found her wetting herself, she is resting and then she is all wet of her two back legs, i dont know if is pee or is some other liquid she is releasing, we take her outside very often and she goes every time we take her, she is also drinking a lot of water but its very strange that if she is peeing herself she doesnt even stands up, is this something that i should get concern?? or should be a normal thing to expect after this type of surgery.

I appreciate your comments and your time.
Best Wishes,
Ale

Answer
Hi Ale,  Sounds like your Girl has a Urinary infection related to the recent surgery.  Please call your Vet for some antibiotics.   She should have the stitches re-checked anyway.
See your Vet ASAP for some help.

Good luck ladies
