bad smell

Question
My dog has bad gas, but some times I don't think it is gas, it smells deferent.  I think it comes from her female part. Can that happen and if so why?

  I'm sorry to hear your having such a problem with your pet. Unfortunately I am not a vet but I can give you my opinion of what might be going on.
  She might be having a reaction to her food. Have you
changed her food or treats to something new? If so that is
probably the cause of the gas. If you haven't changed her food or treats lately then well ...hmmm.
  Did she recently come out of heat? You mentioned it's not always gas,so it's possible she might have an odor from
her vaginal area. Just like women, female dogs can occasionally have vaginal odors. Usually nature takes care of it's self but occasionally they might need the help of the vet.
  My best advice to you is if the food change is not the situation then maybe you should consult your vet if the problem persists.
