Heart worm pills

Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to answer my question.  With all of the different heart worm medication on the market it is difficult at make a decision.  All of the following products have one or more qualities that are appealing, with that said can you recommend a heat worm pill for me?  I live in rural area in PA and have a 5 months German Shepherd.  I am using Front line plus on the dog too.

Hi John,

This is really a veterinary question. I appreciate that in your part of the world, HW meds may be necessary. I live in a lower incidence area and do not use HW at all, but test my dogs once a year. I think a holistic vet is best suited to answering this question. I would be happy to discuss nutrition with you if at any point you have a question in that area.
