Commercial food for IBD

Hi Susan,
Our family adopted a female rough coat collie from the city animal control department in January of this year.  "Molly" is approximately 5 years old and was left at the shelter in the middle of the night with a note saying the previous owners could not afford veterinary treatment for a wound she had on her face.  Her history, as such, is unknown.  About the only thing we can tell for sure is that she has had puppies in the past.  She has had intermittent diarrhea throughout the time she has been with us.  Our vet has done bloodwork and fecal exams which have been normal.  The diarrhea responds well to a bland diet of boiled chicken breast and white rice.  Each time she gets diarrhea we do the bland diet and it clears right up.  But each time we reintroduce kibble, the diarrhea eventually returns.  We have tried Innova kibble and EVO kibble without success.  The diarrhea was particularly bad with EVO.  Our vet feels that IBD is a definite possibility.  We recently went through 9 months of trying to save our 16yr. old IBD cat who developed GI lymphoma.......full thickness biopsy, steroids, chemotherapy, fluids, diet trials.......and coming out of that experience, I'd like to avoid invasive therapies with Molly.  We purchased "ONLY NATURAL PET GI SUPPORT" capsules which she has been taking for about one month.  I've read that a canned diet is often preferable to kibble for canine IBD but need help figuring out what to try next.  The homemade bland chicken and rice diet obviously works for Molly but I know she can't stay on that indefinitely.  If we have to do a homemade diet we will, but our preference would be to find a commercial food.  Any advice or guidance you can provide is greatly appreciate.  Thank you in advance for your time.

I wanted to at least touch base with you before that vile Katie writes and threatens to drop me because my response wasn't timely. I have come this close to quitting this site because of those stupid and vile letters she sends. And then there is no way to even contact her. ugh.
