Question
i have a 2 year old male German shepherd dog. he is eating well but he is very tin and underweight. i can see his ribs. i have consulted my vet but there is no solution, so what do you suggest i should do? thank you

Answer
Feed him more of his dog food, try giving carrots, they are high in sugars and carbohydrates, so are apples, sugar beets and rice.  Are you able to order products on line?  There are some good supplements here in the US called NuVet Plus that can help with some under weights dogs. http://www.nuvet.com/42299

Hope this gives you some things to try.
