is she pregnant?

Hi Mrs Wingate:
How can I tell if my poodle is pregnant ? is been about week since she was breed ...is  it there any signs?I know about a blood test or ultrasound. But if there is another way to find out please advise me...thank you

Ps :she was breed on the 9 day after the bleeding then the 10 and 11 had her period was on thursday 8TH this month

Hello Marcel,
Chances are good that your female is pregnant from that breeding.  You did good by breeding on the 9th day, I tend to breed on the 11th day, and day 13.  You want to skip a day in-between to give the male a chance to replenish his "supply" before breeding again.  This also insures that you catch the right day.  There is a prime day and if you breed every other day, you will be sure to catch it because the sperm will live for at least 24-48 hours inside the female.  

You can't tell if the female is pregnant until you either do an ultrasound (around day 45) or a blood test.  Your Vet will have to do those.  
Sometimes a female will go through a false pregnancy and will act as if she is pregnant, going through all the signs and symptoms, without actually having babies.  She will even get milk and gain weight so its almost impossible to tell if your dog is pregnant or not until you can have the Vet tell you.
