we will be getting our puppy soon.we saw her whenshe was 3wks old, she was black mostly, with very dark brown on body.her ears and tail were jet black. now she has silver around her eyes (the brows) and her brown bodyis getting lighter. what will she look like? isthis a silver or beigesilverthing i read online? thanks!

What you are descibing is a silver.  The brown color you are seeing is just the tips of the hair.  This is typical of blues and silvers they brown out a bit before clearing to silver.  A TRUE silver beige is ALWAYS brown brown and will turn silver on the face and feet by 6 weeks.  There will not be ANY black on a silver beige.  Only brown and a true brown color at that.
Now if your puppies was not silver on the feet and face (when shaved) by the time she was 5-6 weeks old then she is not a silver she is a blue.  If you have pictures you can send me privately I can help you more on the color.  And I can send you example of both silver and silver beige if you would like to help you.  qtpawzpoodles@yahoo.com

Answer
Oh my sorry!  I was under the assumption that your puppy was a poodle not a mix.  Therefore the colors for poodles do NOT apply to this puppy.  So I have no idea what color this puppy would be called.  Would depend upon what color each parent was and what breed each parent was.  It is possible that she is a parti color since partis are common in cockers.  But as I said without a picture I couldnt even hazard a guess now knowing she is mixed.  If she were a poodle and a silver she would have been born black.  Silvers are ALWAYS born black unless you have the very rare silver born silver.  They clear as they mature and at 6 weeks of age the face and feet would be silver.  Silver beiges are ALWAYS born brown unless once again you have a very rare silver beige born silver beige.  They clear as they mature and at 6 weeks silver beiges would be silver beige on the face and feet again.
So YES if she WERE a purebred poodle and she had black on her ears head body and tail she would INDEED be a silver.  But again that silver coloring would have had to show up on the face and feet by the time the puppy was 6 weeks of age.
If this puppy is truely brown on the body, silver in the face area and black in other places it sounds to me that she is a parti.  Parti means more than one color.
