Like to know if toy and miniature poodles are one in the same.
Our poodle is about 15 months old. She don't like to go out in the car, getting nervous, shivering like.
Lately she has been shivering a lot during the day.
Anything to worry about, she gets lots of loving and no abuse.

Hello Milt,
Toy and Miniature Poodles are not the same breed.  They were both bred down from the Standard Poodle, but there are different Standards for each size.  
Some people will try to breed Toy and Miniature Poodles, but what you end up getting is either large Toy Poodles or small Miniature Poodles.  

Some of the toy Poodles tend to have nervous tendencies.  They will shake or shiver for no apparent reason.  It tends to just be from nervousness.  There isn't anything to worry about.  
You could try taking her out around people to get her over her being shy and nervous.  The more people that pet her and that she sees as being nice, the better she will be.  
You can also take treats with you and let people give them to her.  She will see that people just want to feed her and love on her.
