Hind leg lift

Question
I have a YorkiePoodle mix and I am so curious as to why she lifts her hinds leg and puts it on other dogs or people.she just stands still lifts her leg and touches your leg or other dog and looks straight forward as if it were normal for her to stand this way.
I have looked it up and everything refers to lifting and peeing but this is not the case .Have you ever come across this?

I have never heard of something like this that isn't related to urinating.  It could just be that she wants to touch someone or another dog for security.  I know of dogs that want to sit on their owners feet just to be touching them, and this sounds like it could be the same thing.  If you don't want her to do this anymore, don't give her attention until her leg is on the floor.  Once her leg is down, you can pet or talk to her.  She will learn that she doesn't get the attention that she wants until she puts her leg down.
