Question
Hey the answers u gave me were great . I did what u said I let the dogs fight but the problem is I'm not to sure who's boss the dog go at it and each time the other wins it goes back and forth they are both tough girls .they started getting hurt one dog got her eye scratched on the corner the other bleeding from her mouth .I seperated them so they wouldn't hurt each other but one dog seems to be looking for the other to start trouble every time she sees her they start to growl and fighting begins . Its a constant boxing match . I keep them apart now but once again if they see each other they fight what dog is the boss the one looking for trouble or the one just hanging out. R they just not compatable or maybe just give it more time

Answer
Hello again Danielle,
Thank you for taking my response seriously and I am sorry it didn't work out for your 2 girls.  You never said how old these girls are, but if they are older than 1 yr old, they may never grow out of this.  They are both trying to be dominate, and neither are going to give in.  You can give it more time, but if one or the other doesn't decide who is boss, you may need to get a Dog Behaviorist to come to your house and evaluate your dogs in your home.  That way, he/she can see how your dogs act around each other and should be able to determine who is more dominate.
You may even contact Dog Trainers in your area to see if they can help you.

The other option would be to place one of the girls in another home so they aren't together where they can hurt each other.

You can check your local Yellowpages to find Trainers in your area, or you can check your local PetSmart or PetCo, some of which offer Dog Training.  Finding a Dog Behaviorist can be a bit more difficult, but ask Trainers or Vets in your area if they know of Dog Behaviorists close to you.

I wish I could be of further help, but if you have any other questions that I can help with, please feel free to ask.
