Sick puppy

My toy poodle is 8 weeks old. He as had his first shots and deworm. He was started on Pedigrees puppy chow and I gave him some Purina puppy chow. I notice days later he had diarrhea but he continued to play and very active. Should I take him to the vet or just weigh it out?

Hello Brenda,
Your puppy is just reacting to the new food.  Its ok for him to have the runny stool for a day or two.  You can also give him 1 1/2 cc/ml of pepto bismol, to help settle his stomach.  

You don't need to take him to the Vet unless the diarrhea gets worse or you see blood in it.
