swollen paw maltese; cellulitis paw maltese; nuvet maltese, benadryl ;

my little girl has a very huge paw!  almost triple the size of the other ones.  very swollen and red.  she can not walk on it.  i do not see anything such as a cut or scrape, nothing.  her hair is very matted on each leg and i can not get a comb through it, nor clippers!  should i soak it in peroxide or something else?  help!

Oh Cheryl,  Please call your vet about this... you can give 1/2 a Benadryl 25 mg -
The Vet can also shave down the paw and look for infection?  Can be a cellulitis inside the leg's skin and cells.  EASY to cure with a antibiotic from the vet.

Make sure you baby is taking a good vitamin supplement - keeps them healthy and well...
