Exercising my lab puppy

Hi, I have a 12 week old black labrador and i am worried that we may be walking him too much. I walk him in the morning 15 mins, my son walks and runs with him for about 25 mins at lunch time, then i walk him again for about 15 mins before his evening meal. Is this too much, he loves beiong out and excellent on a lead.

Hello he shouldnt be made to run just yet I dont think its a good idea, walking him for three 15 minute sesions would be fine right now also as thats alot of walking for a 12 week old puppy that you are currently giving. I give my lab who is three years old a 10 minute walk in the morning and she is contented and not fat but she runs in the yard with my other dogs for a few hours everyday also. Some people walk there dogs for hours everyday the dog does enjoy it and most of the time the owner does too but I see it unnessairy.
