Question
Hi there, this is a question regarding my Angel Halo. She is pregnant and is due anytime. She is producing milk but only from 1 nipple. Is there anything that I could possibly give her to produce more milk? I did some research and found out that ice cream and cottage cheese does the trick but I am not too certain. Any other info will help.Tnx!

Answer
Chenee,
Relax, those nipples will be working at full capacity once the puppies are born, there is nothing to worry about now. You can certainly give her a tablespoon of cottage cheese now if you want, the extra energy it will supply can only help in labor and delivery. After the puppies are born it's a great idea to give her some cottage cheese as a supplement to help with extra calcium and milk production. She will be EXTRA hungry from taking care of puppies and will need extra feedings too - and you'll notice she will poop A LOT more too. Best of luck with everything!
