ANSWER: Well, according to the standard, there is no reason to EVER cut a Siberian's coat other than to remove excess fur sticking out from between the pads of the feet.  Beyond that, the Siberian coat should be brushed only.  One reason for this - they don't grow fur back very well.  So I can't tell you if the fur will grow back, and if it does, if it will grow back like the original coat.  Unfortunately, most groomers don't know this about Siberians and many owners don't either.  So, give it some time, maybe add some coat supplements (high fat/protein diet) and that should help.

QUESTION: Can you please give me some examples on some food; that I can give to my Siberian with high level of protein and high fat; I give him NATURAL CHOICE for large bread puppy. but if you can give some supplements I'll appreciate it. do you think if he is outside the son will damage his skin let me please thank you.

Answer
The dog being outside could definitely damage his skin, as canines are just as prone to sunburn as humans are.  In fact, they may me moreso only because the skin normally doesn't face the direct sun.  So shade, and there are even some dog sun screens out there, are definite suggestions.

As for supplements, my suggestion is usually meat.  Pretty much anything is good, raw if you like and feel comfortable with that, or cooked - just make sure it is not overcooked and that you lose some of the fats and oils.  Some people also add fish oil supplements or such, but I have not found a need for this.

Hope that helps.
