digging husky

Question
I have a 6 month old female husky and she is great!! I have one issue, when I give her her water, she will put her paws in her bowl and dig at making it go everywhere! Whether indoors or outdoors she constantly spills her water bowl, (which is pretty big), and when it is summertime i feel she should have constant access to water, but I can't fill it 10 times a day when I have to work. Any suggestions?

This is a normal thing for them to love to do at this age. To help cuve the behavior Place a large rock in the bowl so she only has a small area she can get to the water to drink. They also make bowls with nubs in them so it isn't as fun for them to dig in it. Also another thing to do is give her the bowl and then put it up so she can't reach it. This is more work but it will keep your floor dry.
