Hi.  My dog is now 10 and just started getting grey around her mouth.  I inherited her and don't know what type of vitamins I can give her.  She's very sleepy most of the time, and recently started developing bacterial infections from the lake (Lake Ontario).  I've been told it's because her immune system is changing.  She loves the water and now I can't let her swim anymore.

Help!  Is there a way to boost her immune system?

Unfortunately you cannot fight age.  But any type of multivitamin will help.  She will get more and more sleepy though. You can change her diet to a maturity diet, something for dogs 7+ years and older, preferably Iams.  This will help.  And even though she can no longer go in the water, doesn't mean you can't get her a baby pool and go on nice walks.  This will help with activity.  Have fun and good luck ;)
