refuses to go on walks

Question
My 13 week golden just decided the other day that he did not want to go on walks, bike rides or jogs anymore. I can't get him to go past the end of the block. He used to love it. Now he is all balled up full of energy and i can't do anything about it. Do you think his hips or elbows might be bothering him?

It is possible you have over done it.  They are still pretty small at that age and their joints won't take too much stress.  Stick to walks, not the bike or jogs until after he is at least a year old.  

Walks on lead are good.  If getting out in front and coaxing doesn't get a puppy moving, try dropping behind it and running by in baby steps calling ''Go, go, go!'' In a happy, excited voice.
