I am a bit curious as to how many times a female golden at the age of 4 should go into heat in a year... i have heard 1 time and i have heard 2 times i just want her to have puppies she is so beautiful... i don't how to go about this whole process if you could help me out i would appreciate it greatly if not will only be where i started which is better then further behind thanks Shina

I am sorry, but the only thing I can suggest is getting her spayed before her next heat cycle starts.  What is her OFA rating?  That is only one of dozens of things that should be checked before thinking of breeding any dog.  I am very upset that we are slaughtering 10,000,000 dogs a year for lack of homes.  Is she so beautiful, that you want to add to it?  Does she have nay health or temperament problems?  Has she proved herself outstanding in any way, not just in the show ring?  View  http://www.brightlion.com/InHope.aspx  Read http://www.woodhavenlabs.com/justonelitter.html  Call the vet in the morning.
