26 month old golden retriever

My golden retriever has been sleeping in my bedroom since a puppy, but my family says he must sleep outside!!(that he will be more comfortable for him, we live in Cape Town South Africa and it's hot) He is very well behaved and obey's all the commands. He does not cry or complain outside (he has a kennel). But it stresses me! I feel he should be inside! What must I do??? Please HELP!!!!!!

Yes i know how you feel. My dog sleeps in my room, sometimes even on the bed. If your dog is pretty clean, i think it would be GREAT for him to stay inside. ANd goldens cant bare the heat. Trust me, you dont want your dog having a heat stroke and braindamage.
