first time pet owner

I just got my 2 month old retreiver, so i am very new at all of this. Are there certain things i should watch out for when i take her out to walk?  i live in a apartment complex so i dont know if there are harmfull things out there for my pup. What is the best shampoo for her?and what can i do to control the shedding?

On walks, make sure you don't take paths that have thorns or things that hurt when stepped on. After the walk, make a quick check of her paws for any debris. For puppies the best shampoo would be Perfect Coat: Shed Control. This will reduce shedding also. If you have anymore Qs, please ask.
