Over active bladder

I have a 7 wk old GS. I'm trying to crate train him but he seems to always be urinating.  If I take him out to play he can go 5x's in a hour no problem.  I don't think this is normal.  After those 5x's I put him back in his crate and within half hr he has went again.  He has had no accidents with pooping.  When he does go in the crate he screams like crazy which lets me know the crate training is kind or working because he doesn't just lay in it.  Is this normal?

Hi Carlesha,  I would take the puppy into a vet as that is definitely too many times in an hour to be going to the bathroom.  He might possibly have a urinary infection, which is not that uncommon for puppies, especially if there mom didn't keep them clean enough.  Hope this helps, and good luck.
