round tail

I have bought a dog and was given to me as German shepherd now the female pup is app. 3 months old her ears are not straight and her tail remains up & round please suggest whether the dog is actually German shepherd or not.

I wouldn't worry about it.  Many Shepherds carry their tail high especially when they are happy.  Often the ears aren't up at 3 months, but do come up later.  

If you are feeding a puppy chow, you should change over to an adult chow soon.  It slows growth allowing more time for sturdy joints to develop.
