Question
my 4 months german shepherd ears are floopy, and I am curious to know how long this will take, should I change of diet? i am feeding her a puppy chow large breed formula, any type of food you suggest?
thnx

Answer
I think the ears usually come up by 4 months, but some of them still come up later.  Some people work at gluing or taping them up, but I don't know if it helps or not.

I would switch to an adult chow now.  The adult version o what you are feeding should be a good choice.  I don't know if it will help the ears or not, but it is better for the hips.  It slows growth giving more time to develop sturdy joints.  Do not give calcium supplements.  They mess up the careful balance and leave the body less able to use the calcium it needs.
