Hi!  My family and I just purchased an ACA German Shepherd puppy.. we are crate training her but have found that she eats her own feces??!!!  Should we wake her up in the middle of the night to take her out to prevent this??  I do NOT allow her to do this during the day.. although we've only had her for a few days, she has only had around 3 "accidents".

She might've been kept in a small area as a young baby this happens often.
What time are you feeding her for the final meal in the evenings?
Dont' feed her after 5pm and make sure she goes outside as late as possible to potty at night.
