hi.my german sheperd of 2 years has redness in her ears,more so in one ear      with dark brown residu type  stuff you know like after you scrape your knee.and she shakes her neck more often..what do you think i should do.? thank you and have anice day.

Hi John, it sounds like your dog has ear mites.  You will need to take her to the vet to get medication to kill them as they will just spread.  They can spread to other animals.  Especially cats because cats groom each other (and other animals) so they tend to spread it each other that way quicker.  Hope this helps,
