Question
Are german sheperds usually agressive and is it easy or hard to train them, also do they make a better inside or outside dog? Thank you so much i really hope you respond to my questions and quickly please.

Answer
In a common breed such as the German Shepherds, there are many different lines with vast differences from one to the next.  Many Shepherds are big wimps.  Some people insist on breeding aggressive ones, but there are many fine tempered ones.  Although the Labs have largely displaced them as dog guides, many of them still serve.  Dumb, aggressive dogs need not apply for such.

Many German Shepherds do fine inside.  Again, a dog guide may spend most of its day next to its partners desk while they work.  You can even find some smaller individuals that take up a little less house.

Good dogs are hard to find, and who knows how a puppy will turn out?  One of the best sources for dogs with a predictable personality is the rescue
dogs.  These are dogs that lost their home, but were taken into a foster home
to be retrained as necessary and placed in the right home for them.   You may
find a rescue near you starting at
http://www.akc.org/breeds/rescue.cfm  The rescues charge a fee to help cover their expenses, but is much less than the price of a puppy plus all its medical expenses the first year.
