hi dawn,  thanks for getting back to me. the answers to your question are no sadie hasn't barked with my husband, and when sadie barks when we are out i pull her back and say no.

Hi Leanne,  Try carrying a small spray bottle full of water and everytime she barks, spray her in the face and tell her no.  You don't have to pull her close as the spray bottle will give you distance in correcting her.  She may feel that your husband is the dominant one and she won't bark because he is with her, but when you are with her she may not consider you dominant over her so that is why she barks.  I would try the spray bottle first and see how that works.  Good Luck.
