What are this physical differences between an American German Shepard and a German German Shepard

Answer
I think the German lines have stayed truer to the classic German Shepherd while the American lines have gone to the sloped back popular with the judges.  The German lines tend to have better hips and fewer other health problems too.  

I must admit a negative attitude toward show breeders that compromise other things for a certain look.
