My senior German Shepard

I adopted a german shepard mix, she still has very large nipples from a previous litter. She is about 8 or 9. I beleive she is going into heat. If she is going into heat. Is she not to old to go into heat. What age do they stop going into heat

Senior German Shepherds can go in to heat even at 10 years  .  It is not recommended that she have pups at this age.  Quite often breeders will spay their females at approximately 6 to 7 years.
