My GSD does not bark

Question
I have a two year old German Shepherd named Konner and he has never barked however, he will playfully growl and will moan from time to time when he lays down or is bored.  Should I be concerned that he does not bark at the doorbell, when excited, or at anything?

I occasionally see questions like yours.  I see far more from people wanting to know how to keep a dog from barking.  Unless you feel you have a security problem, I would leave well enough alone.  Labs aren't big barkers either.  I don't see a problem.  I guess it is another case of of dogs failing to read and follow their breed description.
