breeding german shepherds

is a 7 year old black female German shepherd to old to breed. will she have any problems after birth

If she's never been bred at this age, that would make me doubly wary of breeding her. I really wouldn't feel comfortable advising you to breed her at this age at all. I'm sorry :(

Honestly that depends on the female. What her physical and emotional health is like, whether she's been bred before etc. Would I personally breed a seven year old ? No probably not. I would be concerned about stress on her hips, joints and general all around well being. Being a mother, carrying a pregnancy delivering puppies and raising a litter is very stressful in every way to a female. I wouldn't want to risk my girl. It could very likely cause health problems that she doesn't have,.exacerbate one's that she does have., and bring to the front symptoms that possibly would've been years in the making. It could definitely shorten her lifespan. At her age. I would say no.
