diet for white german shepherd

We are adopting a white german shepherd from an animal rescue and I was wondering what is the best commercial brand dog food for this breed of dog and is there any natural foods they can eat as well?

Dog chow is not the rocket science many would make of it.  The truth is, although they may get there different ways, all but the cheapest chows are all formulated to contain the same balance of nutrients.  You can't go wrong with one of the common brands like Pro Plan or Iams.  Find out what the rescue is feeding.  Continuing it might be as good as anything.  If not, get enough of it to make the transition to the new over a week.  There are ''natural'' chows available, but since I know of no reason to feed one, I haven't remembered the brands.  I know of too many dogs doing just fine on Pro Plan and Iams to belief there is anything wrong with them.
