Possible Hip Dysplacia

Question
My German Shepherd Is my best buddy in the world!!
I lost his father due to hip problems, and unfortunately, am not financially able to have my buddy undergo Xrays. It's starting...the lowerness of the hip; slowness to get up on bak legs; and that "look" of the back feet coming together as he stands, so it appears that he is "twirling" them. He is at the same age his Dad was...8 years old. What can I do? Does this sound like dysplacia and what is the normal process of finding out and the normal treatment? I use to "wheelbarrow" his Dad, because his love of life was amazing! I do not want to go thru this with this buddy too! I am going thru a horrible divorce and cannot bare the thought of losing him. Please advise me.Please. Thank you so very much~Linda

Answer
HI LINDA
AT HIS AGE IT COULD BE ARTHRTIS FOR HD SETS IN AT YOUNG AT SEVEN MONTHS, IT DOES NOT SHOW THE PAIN TILL LATER THROUGH XRAYS.
PUT HIM ON SPRINGTIMES JOINT HEALTH, GO TO MY WEB SITE CLICK ON SPRINGTIME, IN THEIR SEARCH TYPE IN DOGS.  LOOK FOR FRESH FACTORS AND JOINT HEALTH. READ!  I BELIEVE THE JOINT HEALTH WILL KEEP HIM PAIN FREE AND MORE LOOSE IN THE REAR.  IT HAS MADE A NEW DOG OF MY OLD BULLDOG OF 11 YRS, HER LIFE SPAN IS 8 YRS, SHE IS FILLING UP IN THE LUNGS, BUT SHE CAN MOVE AND PLAY NOW.  THESE PRODUCTS ARE ALL NATURAL AND WONDERFUL FOR DOGS.  IT JUST PUTS BLOOM INTO AN OLDER DOG AND MAKES THEM FEEL GOOD, THIS JUST MIGHT BRING HIM BACK AND KEEP HIM GOING FOR YOU IN FACT I AM SURE IT WILL.  GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS
