Question
hello i am asking this.. my puppy is about 11 to 12 weeks old.. his one ear is right up.. and it looks like the other one wants to go up.. but it is half way.. and side was.. what  dose this me.. do you think its a good chance he is still a puppy and his ears where stan.. thanks

Answer
I wouldn't worry about it.  I have seen puppies with their ears up at 7 weeks, and had reports of them coming up near a year.

You should be feeding a puppy chow now and nothing else.  Calcium supplements are the worst thing possible for a growing large breed. Switching to an adult chow for the larger breeds at 4 months, slows growth and helps develop sturdier joints.

Your dog definitely should be narrower at the waist than the hips and chest. You should be able to easily feel the ribs, but not see them. Each dog is different. Standard recommendations are a good place to start, but each dog must have its food and exercise adjusted to its individual needs.
