My German Shepard has diarrhoea all the time

My German Shepard always has diarrhoea since he was young, he is now 8. We have taken him to a vet and had checked out, but he seems fine, full of go and always wants to play. The only thing is that he does not always want his dinner every day. I feed him a tin of dog food with some mixer, no gravy, he hates gravy.

Hi Dave,  First, get him off the canned food.  That can cause a lot of shepherds diarrhea.  Shepherds can have very sensitive gastric  tracts.  You might try some sensitive stomach food.  Pedigree makes a really good one.  Just feed it to him dry, and if he doesn't eat it, add just a little warm water to it (not enought to make a gravy, but enough to get the morsels to swell a little and give off a stronger scent to encourage him to eat it.)   Hope this helps, and good luck.
