How to Administer My GS Dogs Meds

Hi my german shepherd has to take some antibiotics and he is really making it almost impossible...any tricks or tips? Or Do I have to try and perfect "open jaw and somehow throw it to his back of throat?"  sounds worse to me than hiding in a home made treat/tidbit of chicken. ...but he's gotten wise to my method & Im just worn out! Have another four days of 2capsules, 2x a day!

It has always just seemed easier for me to push it back into the throat than mess around with treats.  We keep our friend's dog a lot.  He is a big Lab and takes all kind of pills.  It is funny, he comes running at the snap of a pilltainer lid.   You then have to pry his mouth open, stick your hand in there up to the wrist with all those big teeth.  I deposit the pill back there, remove my hand, hold his mouth shut and his chin up.
