i have a 15 month old german sheperd , a month ago we had our 2yr old granddaughter over for 2 nights.the 2nd day she went to give him a big kiss and my boyfriend noticed a look from him and then he attacked her.not no marks on her but scared us.was he just warning her? or did he mean it? and what should we do about it? we have had him sence he was 10 weeks old. he has been around her about 9 times before this and has never reacted like this,he follow's her around like hes hearding her

He doesn't understand where he and her fit into the pack.  The key to most behavior problems is approaching things using the dog's natural instincts. Dogs see all the people and dogs in the household as a pack with each having their own rank in the pack and a top dog. Life is much easier if the 2 legged pack members outrank the 4 legged ones. You can learn to play the role of top dog by reading some books or going to a good obedience class.
