german shepherd training

Hi I'm Kayla and i want to ask you about my german shepherd. i just adopted her a few weeks ago and now im training her. this is my second week of training and she just wont pay attention. i read books and books on training a german shepherd but she just wont learn. do you have any advice to help me to teach her?

If you are trying to teach obedience to a young puppy, they have very short attention spans.  What you need to do is just have her do each command a few times in a session.  A few minutes at a time, several times a day, and in a week she should be doing very well.  I hope the books you are reading suggest lots of praise and a few treats too.  Most trainers are moving to the more positive methods.  They work very well.
