Question
Hi, I have a 10 month old male German shepherd he is the most loving dog to me and my family. The only problem is that he is too aggressive. He tries to bite strangers and attack them if they get too close. I also recently bought him a female companion. She is a 2 month old German shepherd as well. He is very aggressive to other dogs, but I thought that he wouldn't be with our new addition. One that she is just a puppy and two that she is a female. I am really stressing about this situation because I am becoming very attached with the new puppy and I would hate to get rid of her. Please help!

Answer
Go to alpha boot camp on the web (type into your search engine) read and follow their instructions to establish pack order in your home. Do this SOON. Meanwhhile,WALK YOUR  DOG twice daily every day at heel briskly and until he's tired. Several times per week play with him or exercise him until he is panting and TIRED. Get him involved in obedience classes. Make sure he has toys that challeng his mind and his body and change them out frequently. Tether ball and pole in the backyard is great, kongs stuffed with treats , different sized balls from HUGE buddy balls to tennis balls.  These are working dogs, high energy and high intelligence. If you don't do this you have a real problem in the making and your dog will be the one who truly suffers in the end.
Good luck
