Potty problem

We have a shephard/husky mix who is having problems.  We have had her about 6 years and has been a recent thing.  She is about 11 years old and was a rescued from an abusive owner.  When we are home she has started having accidents, even when being let out alot.  We let her and our other dog out into the backyard several times a day, so she is not being locked in the house for long periods of time.  She is usually pretty good about letting us know,  she whines and we let her out.  Lately,  she has not whined and just pees in various places in our house.  This is not usual of her and we are not sure what is wrong/ what to do.  Please help!  Thanks Jen

Hi Jennifer,  You need to take her into the vet.  She sounds like she has something medically wrong with her like a urinary infection, bladder infection or something else of that nature.  When a dog starts to have small accidents all over the place, that is normally a sign of something of a physical nature, not mental.  Hope this helps,
