Question
What is the best food for GSD> I used to feed Eukanuba then it was sold and it is now put down as junk food. I think GSD do well on medium food. The expensive one seem  to be too rich for them. Anybody feed Eukanuba and what do you think of it? Thanks

What are you feeding now?  Jumping around from food to food is one of the worst things you can do.  I have fed Eukanuba and my dog and many others did just fine on it.  You have to remember that much of what your read about dog chows comes from people selling dog chows, or at least recipes and ingredients for your own diet.  Much of it goes beyond marketing hype into actual lies.  Most of my experience is in a program that feeds Pro Plan to thousands of dogs.  Most of the dogs are still eating Pro Plan and working at 10-12 years old.  Many similar programs feed Iams with similar good results.  Any suggestion idea that such chows aren't good for dogs, doesn't fit the facts.  If you are feeding one of the common dog chows now, I would stick with it.
