Sleeps

Hi again  my german shepperd pup is 12wks and she
seams to sleep a lot and not very active is this right she is also so layed back, gental and nothing bothers her people often said they cant beleave how quiet she is that most pups are jumpy and bitting she has always been like this from 8 wks .iv tock her to the vet and they even  said its strange do you know why ,is it okay for her be like this.
shes had all her jabs ,only thing she got wrong is she got the runns had them when i got her been to vets had meddision still trying to find right food , got her on pedigre complet chicken rice with little bit of pedigre chicken meat mixed in as she wouldnt eat it even when i wetted it down , only been on it 1-1/2 days but looks a little better , She also dont eat much in a day my 2 yorkies eat more than her,i am worred could that be why she sleeps alot. She a great dog i love her to bits and just wont her to be well and happy ,Hope you can help thankyou

Hi Heidi,  Have you met her parents?  How did all the other pups act?  If any of the parents are laid back and quiet like that, there is a possibility that it is genetic.  If so, then it won't change.  If your puppy is still acting abnormal, and you can rule out genetics, you can have the vet run a blood test on the puppy to rule out anything medical.  If that comes out clear, then be thankful you have such a nice mild mannered puppy.  Most people would consider you very lucky.  :)  Hope this helps,
