Question
Can you break a german sheperds puppies ears before they are standing and if so how easy it is to do

Answer
Hi, German Shepherds ears go up and down until about 6-7 months of age depending on their genes.  This is due to the body taking the calcium from the ears (which builds the cartlidge in the ears) and disperses it to other parts of the body that need the calcium at the time i.e. the teeth.  The ears cartlidge can't actually break unless some sort of accident happens to the cartlidge normally after the cartlidge has set, again between 6-7 months of age.  If you have anymore questions, feel free to let me know.
