dog brakes into house

Question
I was wondering if you happen to know how to lock a dog door?
this may sound funny but I have installed one in my slideing
glass door and if i put the sliding lock that covers the door on
the inside the dog rips apart the plastic flap but doesn't get into
the house.. I'm trying to prevent both so I put the sliding lock
that covers the door on the outside and the dog somehow
manages to lift out the pin and at the same time lift up to
remove the cover..

WELL YOU HAVE ONE SMART DOG I MUST SAY.
TRUTHFULLY I NEVER EXPERIENCED USING A DOGGIE DOOR, SORRY SO I CANNOT ADVISE YOU PROPERLY.  I WOULD ASK THE COMPANY I GOT IT FROM WHAT TO DO ABOUT THIS PROBLEM.  IT SOUNDED KINDA FUNNY AND GOT A LAUGH FROM YOUR QUESTION, NO OFFENSE, JUST SMART DOG THERE U HAVE.  
I REALLY HAVE NO IDEA HOW THOSE WORK BESIDES SEEING ON T.V. AND IN BOOKS.  SO SORRY, BUT CONTACT THE PLACE YOU GOT IT FOR HELP THEY WILL MOST LIKELY BE HAPPY TO HELP OUT.
