Question
I purchase my first ever gsd at 6 weeks. I have 3 young daughters. I mostly
do all the feeding and training but my dog just starting her biting. Just
yesterday my dog i think was trying to play with my youngest whos two and
bit her on her stomach. It was more of a scratch then a bite. But Im worried
she's going to be aggressive dog? I've read to grab them from the back of
their neck and say no with a firm voice and the dog should stop. Well to my
surprise, she wouldn't and growled and me and tried to bite me even more!
Now what do I do?

Answer
6 weeks is too young for a pup to be separated from her littermates. She hasn't learned some of the valuable lessons that pups between the ages of six and eight weeks really learn much more easily from their littermates and mom. Your breeder needs to be soundly reprimanded. Type alpha boot camp into your web browser and implement the stragies that are age appropriate. Get your puppy into puppy socialization classes as soon as she is old enough. For now,. everytime your puppy puts teeth on someone make a VERY high pitched OWWWWWWWW and no,. and immediately remove the puppy from the situation,. ignore her and don't play with her for awhile. DO NOT grab her by the back of the neck. As you could see, that is a mistake. Your puppy is an alpha puppy, and a reputable breeder shouldn't have sold the alpha pup from the litter to someone with young children. These puppies by nature are outgoing, determined., intelligent and like to be the boss. You need to make sure your children do not allow the puppy on the furniture and they need to take turns feeding her. Teach her sit, and have her sit prior to feeding let the kids take turns putting her food bowl down. You can establish and maintain pack order in your home, but you need to begin doing it now. Remember that she is an infant, and a sponge, do not allow her any kind of behavior now that you would not find acceptable in an adult, large breed dog. Learn how to teach her, and how to live with her. You'll be thrilled with the results. She'll be intelligent, loyal and protect your children with her life, Get her some toys that you can stuff treats in, make sure she gets plenty of attention and training.
Good luck and stay in touch
